The InterFaceTwit of things

If I were to sum up my belated thoughts on the intro to this course, I would say technology, in many ways, is growing faster than our ability to comprehend and manage it. So much information and new tech is thrown at us every 6 months. As I watch it play it out, the average user looks and interacts with it at face-value / in the moment. Then, after data is gathered and some loophole is found or some social awareness campaign is triggered by an angry mother or political think-tank, they have a collective oh-shit moment. Then, they start looking at outcomes. I realize that's an abstraction and it doesn't in any way touch all the variables or apps that, out of the chute, have value. That's my "face-value" snapshot of what's seen in the wild, in the news, on social-media in general.
